Haga Nuu?
(who are we?)
We are a group of grassroots language learners from our community, committed to supporting the revitalization and growth of the Owens Valley Paiute language, Nüümü Yadoha-na.
We believe that every language carries a history, cultural identity, and unique way of seeing the world. Creating opportunities to connect with the language, we hope to encourage a deeper appreciation and love within our local tribal community.
Our goal is to help make learning accessible, meaningful, and welcoming to all. By coming together as learners, speakers, and supporters, we can nurture and keep our language thriving for generations to come.
